    After watching the video before my first post here. This video reminded me of the scene from the movie "The Help". Where the maid had the Lady of the house shake the chicken in the paper bag.

    used to ceramic cereal bowls to test out good old Marthas method. Shook for 1 minute .. a head of garlic which I cut the top off and bottom and had pre removed the outer paper part of the garlic head.. got 5-6 really clean cloves. then four still needing me to whack with a knife. Ok whacking cloves with a knife is quick. easy and no bowls that I now heed to make sure are clean no one wants cereal tasting like garlic. ok not me at least

    Good point on the cereal bowls. I prefer whacking the garlic with the knife. It's quick, easy and the garlic doesn't suffer.
