    OK ... here's mine. I kind of wish I had used a different color for the center part, something not so dark. But I'm planning on a dark bias binding (dark brown plaid with gold and copper) so I'll see what it looks like when it's finished.

    DHM--I like the dark center it "grounds" the cacti. You could always add the center circle in a lighter color.

    I like the dark center too, it just has to be this way! Like Carrie said, it grounds the flowers

    GrannyQ, I love your block. Thinking back to PC & FWS, you use fewer colors than I do yet achieve such outstanding results. You really "get" contrast, value, etc.

    Groovy-great block. You could have pulled those fabrics from my stash. You put them together so well.

    DHMom, I agree. The dark center makes the block pop. Very pretty.

    I'm off on a FART with friends all day today--can't wait to see more pics tonight!

    Here I am sitting on the sidelines and going ohh and ahh. The interpretations of the same block is marvelous. Can't wait to see more.
