Ok, sorry I missed the posting for this Virtual Quilt Along. I am joining in for the rest of today and tomorrow. I am preparing to go to my annual fall Quilt Retreat, so I will be pulling things together. Also working on a couple of stray projects. Pics later....

I absolutely love that red quilt.

I just finished a short break for food (needed more energy) and am getting ready to go back into my cave. So far today I was able to finish one QFK top and cut and press backing for it and one other. I hope to get the second one pieced today so I can cut strips for a rail fence this evening.

I just love these weekends as I get so motivated.

@ DebraK: Both those stars are great together and alone. I like the fabrics you are using and would be excited to make 37, did you say 37, more blocks.
    peace

I haven't gotten much done today. Had to take my dog to the vet and now I'm watching the Michigan/Michigan State game, but I did get one more row done on my queen sized top. Two more to go.

Cynicalbeauty- I love the colors of your quilt, please show us the completed top when its done.

I have glue basted my faded charms quilt, gone to the thrift store and bought 2 quilting books and a bag of sheets and pillow cases- some lovely pillow cases to cut up for my vintage sheet quilt that I am collecting fabric for. Also went to the fabric store for 1/2 price thread and a new seam ripper as mine is very old.

Not getting alot finished so far. DH is down with a chest cold, my mother showed up unexpectedly to pick up another one of my kids so had to pack and such. Now that the two older ones are gone the smaller two are running around with nothing to do they say. So been taking breaks to play games with them, get out the beads for them to play, and letting one of them help with some of the painting that needed done on a swap item. Hoping to get more done later once they are settled and in bed.
