My son is in the Army and is on his way to Ft Hood where he will retire from there.
Knittette, that is such a cool poem! Thanks for posting it for all of us frantically trying to get all our quilting done in time for Christmas!
Good morning all! Well, guess who forgot to set their clocks back! Yep, me! I reminded everybody else, but didn't do it myself! Will run around the house & get them changed shortly. I have my box ready to mail & will get it out this week. Don't want my Santaee to have to tortured for too long!
It looks like everyone who's chiming in has agreed to an opening time of 4 p.m. eastern. Looks like that's what time we'll go with.
Hint for the day: I'm in the Army now.......

Me 3!!! I just spent vailableseweing timing running errands for things like food, paper products and kitty litter. So we all might survive another month. LOL.
Ohhhh wait my zip code comes to 21~~ time to start stalking the mail box.
Clues for my SS. You gave me two themes to work with and I really went to town on this one. I sure hope you don't mind. I've a few minor things like wrapping it up and I could be mailing next week.
Off to stitch my fingers away,
Tricia

For my SS: I picked up treats for the animals you have. One was easy as I have one of my own who taste-tested brands, and the other I had to guess at as I don't have one.
Didn't get any sewing done this weekend at all, cleaned carpets as i'm hosting First Thursday coffee hour for the guild this week. It's a pain to rent the rug doctor and do it, but so much cheaper than having it done.

Well, I can not believe I forgot about these. Was sitting here thinking and remembered that stashed away in some totes were some yardage in fabrics that my SS likes. I really need to have a check list for all of the stuff that I have stored away. LOL
Oh well, at least I remembered it and now it is sitting on my sewing table ready to but cut. Is it going to be FQ, 1/2 yards, full yards, or just stuff it in box and sent it all. Never know.
With that said, hint for the day. The fabrics are not brights and not batiks.
