    Are there darts in that pattern for fitting the bust area?

    I am not a dress maker either in fact I just started quilting a year ago and I have not sewed since high school and that is too many years ago to mention.... You can do it. One thing I found helpful was to do a initial fitting of the Muslim before sewing on the strips, this saves you from having to though away fabric.

    You start with muslin and you do the flip and sew method so there isn't any batting needed. I live in Florida so I don't need heavy jackets.

    No there are no darts, I tried to add some but it distorted the lines. I may try to add darts on the muslin and see how thar works.
