    I would love to know the thought process for laying it out. Does he sew in strips using up a certain color and then switch when he runs out? It looks almost like a multicolor plaid.....I love it.

    Dang! He's good. I know how hard it is to match up all those corners on itty-bitty pieces.

    He has all of these individual stacks of blocks that he picks and chooses off of for each quilt. He doesn't do anything random. He has an obsessive compulsive disorder that drives him to make each quilt in a different way. Every fabric is carefully selected!! He doesn't do strip piecing. He sews each block individually and then sews his rows together. He is very careful not to have any two matching fabrics very close to each other if there are any 2 that match.

    DH is very meticulous! Must have thought it needed yellow so he added it. I love all the color.
