    Thank you all for the nice comments. The fabric came from the US. Customs must wonder what on earth I'm up to with the amount of import duty I have to pay! I buy mostly from equilter. The ladies are very helpful and give a good service. There are a few outlets in the UK I like too but don't seem to have the same range. I believe the postie is going to be staggering up my path with more fabric parcels today. (happy Thanksgiving to all you ladies in US)

    All I can say is "Adorable". When I was a kid we had a man in the neighborhood named Alfie. Brings back good memories.
