    It was 29 in the Arizona desert this morning. I put blankets on the horses last night. They looked at me as though saying . . . "Really??". This morning they had a different attitude. All standing cuddled up. Now they know why I put the blankets on. No . . . the blankets weren't quilted.

    I love coming here, to the songs and pictures! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

    I'm closer to Austin, than Dallas, so our temps are plenty cold but at least we aren't being pounded by ice. Supposed to get down to a low of about 25. Right now, it's right at the freezing point. This morning, I took Phoebe out and it was drizzling, with the porch/steps wet. About half an hour later, DH told me the porch was 'crunchy' so guess the temps are dropping.

    I hope every one stays warm and safe. No need to drive I hope on those icy roads. But it sure is good sewing and quilting weather. Just put some soup in the crock pot and you are good for the day I hope.

    This may be your last hint if I forget to get on tomorrow and put one up....... I live in your home state, now how special is that?

    Everything is covered with white this morning. I'm hunkering down and working from home. Which puts me close to my SS package all day....

    Sorry I haven't been on for a while. My back has kept me from sitting at the computor ofr any length of time. We had six inches of snow 2 days ago then the cold. Temps went from 40 to -13 with a -20 windchill doesn't helt the arthritis one bit. Well that's enough complaining at least the sun is shining. A good hot cup of tea should do the trick. then on to catching up on my quilting.

    I received a *mystery package* in my mail box today! yea! I hope it is from my 'Secret Santa' ... the package doesn't say it's from 'Santa' but since I do not know the person on the address label i'm taking a stab in the dark & hoping- now....for opening day!!!

    I wish that I would be able to be here for opening party...We are supposed to get snow on sunday afternoon/early evening...so the roads will be worse than normal. A 1 1/2 hour trip will become at least 2 1/2...yuck. I'll be lucky to get home by 9pm.
    But will be ripping that package open when I do get home....
