    OK...
I am really pleased to have my SP this month. Just before I got my name I sent out a little wish, and it came true! Happy dancing all over the place. Can you guess who you are?

I mailed my SS package yesterday and it is winging its way to a far away land and I also received a most generous package from my SS partner Verna2197 yesterday. Beautiful things she sent and I will post pics later today (I have to do the dreaded housecleaning today plus make table decorations for 30 tables at the local senior center for our Christmas party on Thursday) But I did want to thank Verna for her great selections she sent and Verna, I hope you are feeling better. Warm hugs and get well wishes sent your way.

I posted my parcel on Thursday. I wanted to be super-early as I've no idea how long they're taking at this time of year. You:

    - didn't get the thing you wanted the most.....
    - didn't get anything hand made.....
    - I forgot to put in your Christmas card (and I'm not sending it as I think it might get there before your parcel)....
    - also forgot to put in the spool of thread which must have rolled on to the floor......

You're really going to have to repeat, "It's the thought that counts.............." and believe it too!

I am so glad you like everything my Dh really did good picking everything out. Will have to send him more often. Went back to the doc yesterday and he thinks a lot of my troubles is coming from my back he was really surprised that my knee wasn't completely healed, so now I have to make a appt with my back surgeon oh yes this s going to be fun. Last time I talked to him he wanted to fuse 5 vertebrae together and I told him there is no way. Now we will see what he says.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! The worst part of it was the anesthesia. The doctors told me that I could watch the whole thing on a screen. I said, NO THANKS!!! Give me some knock out drops and plenty of them. Well, there went the next couple of days, LOL!

SP, you asked for something very specific and I was finally able to go shopping last night, so your package will be on the way on Monday. I sure hope you like it all. I just need to make something special for you today.

Good news! I think we may have found a house. It's a little closer to the water than we'd like, but it's a nice neighborhood and the neighbors seem lovely. One is my old neighbor's son! It's bigger than our old home and I think it will work nicely for a blended family (son and daughter in law til they get back on their feet). There's a huge room that will be my studio, gorgeous bathrooms -- one has a jacuzzi tub -- and a pool (not in the bathroom ). The sun porch serves as a laundry room and there is a stinkin' fancy dryer that is also a dry cleaner! There's a formal dining room that oddly has a loft at one end that I guess a spry guest could sleep in. Now all we need is some furniture, hahaha! But we've run into some of our long time friends who do estate sales and they've promised us rock bottom prices. So ... if all goes well, quilting retreat at my house this summer!
