Default Dec. swap Brights fabric question

Ok -- I have a question about the 'brights' for the December swap. I was thinking the brights are really bright and not pastels or prints (except very small prints.)

Attached are the choices I'm using... no pastels or large prints on the bright fabrics. Are these good?

    Please clarify?

Yes, brights, not pastels. I'll leave it to the group to decide about the small prints.

Stitch124, I think your brights read as solids-- which seemed to be the goal. They look similar to the example Jane posted at the beginning of this thread (post #2) and would blend well there with those blocks. Maybe not your red fabric so much as the others. I like your black on white choices and the 2 white on black choices that are on the bottom of the stack! Your blocks are going to look great! :-)

Maybe I need to change some of mine also to more bright. Let me know I can make some more blocks. I'm just a "matchy" person. I went from light to dark. Tell me which ones to change ladies.

Thank you ladies, but rules are rules and I really didn't even think brights to brights. Like I say I am a "matchy" type person and quilter and etc.... Jane please tell me if these need to be changed, I can do that.

I know what you mean Jaba. I am like that myself and sometimes it is a pain in the butt when you "just have to" change or re-do things.
