    Default resizing a lap quilt.

I want to re size a lap quilt pattern. My question is how? The pattern is set on point. So if I add a row that is from the upper left to the lower right, I would still need to add a row from the upper right to the lower left. That would keep the diamond shape that is set on point. Making the corner triangles larger on all four corners.

I resized a baby quilt that was set on point. I added an extra row of blocks in the middle

How large do you want to make the resizing the quilt?? How large are your blocks?? Many of us have EQ which is really quick to resize a quilt.

I would just add another border or two.

Blocks are 6 inch square. Original quilt is 55 inch by 55 inch. Want to make it 70 inch by 80 inch.

Similar to ManiacQuilter ... make a friend of someone who does have the EQ and is willing to help you, or buy it for yourself as a gift.
