I just ordered my Book/CD! I'm thinking of joining in the fun. I'm finishing a baby quilt right now but I've missed quilting along with you guys on the board. Can't wait to restart! I still have blocks from previous exchanges I haven't put together so that's also on my list. Looking forward to see your blocks. the 2013 album really motivated me!

Here's my Arizona. Wish I had noticed I reversed the reds on one section. I may go back and change it later.

Keeping in mind the CD that comes with the book is a how-to, you can't print the blocks from it or anything.

    Welcome!

I have a new respect for all those who have completed Arizona; tackled it this morning and have one wedge of eight done...making it harder on self by fuzzy cutting little pieces which really needed to be cut on a 45 degree cut. Grrrr.

heyjami, go back in this discusion/posting remarks and get the address on net, Foundations to order the CD that prints out the stars in the size you choose to make. Its the Carol Doark original institution of her patterns. I am making 12" stars, so I do not change the size when I print the block from that CD...others do. Welcome. Its fun and challenging.

Just a word of caution, the FF download has an error on the pattern for Arizona. Both sides are marked "A". I don't know if it would make a difference or not but it sure threw me.

I must have stitched right on...will look forward to seeing how your block differs from mine.
I've added more pieces to a number of the simpler blocks just to make the whole group of blocks look better to my eye.
I think I'm up to about block 20 now, but I'm home caring for my mother. My time is all broken up but it still results in more stitching time than many of you, I'm not racing!

Here is my Arizona should have gone with something a bit more contrasty for the points around the center..lesson learned. I love seeing how each star is the same but entirely different all at same time.
