Discovered that my black on all but one set was part polyester when I pressed my second set of blocks. 😣
Not sure when I'm going to get to the store for more black. So I may only have one set to swap. Will keep you posted.

If you iron polyester blends with a really hot iron you can watch the fabric shrink 1/4" right before your eyes... I just did that the 3rd week of January. Our niece was due with her baby boy and last minute my sister decided to make a baby quilt.

I told her about the D4P being a quick block to sew, so she sewed the 4-Patches, then passed the blocks to me to finish, and I passed them back to her to sew the top together. She used some poly/cotton blends. It wasn't fun. Even though I was really careful with a low setting on my iron, I ended up trimming them down to 8" because the polyester disappeared and there was no seam allowance.

I'm waiting for my bubble envelopes from the USPS to be delivered. We got a note in our mailbox that we wouldn't get our mail until we cleared the snow away from the mailbox so the postal worker could drive her truck up close enough to reach without getting out of her truck... It also said that if we came to the post office we would not be allowed to pick up our mail!!! (Seemed a bit rude.) My husband cleared the snow last time, and we are sort of waiting a bit to see if the neighbour will take a turn (our mailboxes sit together).

That's crazy - just like ours won't deliver it if the trash folk leave the garbage cans in the way after they dump our trash.

May not get all 6 sets done. Since I discovered my black was part polyester and shrank when I pressed it, I don't know if I will get them all redone. Will have two sets for sure - one totally completed, one about 3/4 done so far.
