I really would like to do this, I like the blocks in this book BUT, the size of the blocks with all that is going on in each is a bit taunting to me....is there a software program that accompanies this that would enlarge the blocks? Just wondering...

There's no software like Dear Jane but you can redraw the blocks in EQ.

giquilt, great blocks, fun idea for the wedding ring!

Geri B. you can just google each block for a 12" version to see if there's a freebie out there; quilterscache.com has an excellent section on different sizes and also http://www.mccallsquilting.com/Block_Reference.html

I just read all the PM replies I've been getting to the 136 I sent out to let people know about the new DJ thread starting... QuiltingNinaSue told me she had lots of irons in the quilting fire, one of which was here with Sylvia and Anael!! I remember some of us talking about doing this one together... probably good I didnt find out sooner because I'm not sure I could fit this in now either. However the blocks I saw are awesome!!! very very pretty

I saw a note early on - someone asking Dotty about her design wall created by Sharon Mastbrook. This designwall is actually still part of the DJ software. If you have the software, you have the capability of using it. I suppose you could also tweak it for Sylvia .... you would have to cheat a little - by naming your sylvia blocks "mya1....through....mym13" to replace the placement of DJ blocks. If anyone has the DJ software and can't figure out how it's done, PM me if this doesn't make sense.

    Happy sewing!!
    Gus
