OKsewnsew, that is just beautiful, I love how that red strip just makes the center pop. I can't wait to see it all finished. I'm still debating on my next round, don't want to rush it.

oksewnsew that is beautiful! I think the solid strip is the way to go too. It would be way too busy with so much going on. Told you guys so listen carefully usually about every 2 or 3 strips you will need a visual.. break? something that goes away from the busy hectic style and calms things down before you go back into it. I can see that its going to be tough to come up with something that you like Oksewnsew. I will give it a try currently drawing blanks myself!!!

I hope others have something to share.....

OK--that is beautiful. Really like that. Looks all like it was planned that way from the very beginning. I have learned so much.

OK- love the solid round. Your quilt is "flowing" together perfectly and love that you keep continuing your corners out (sqs).

Oksewnsew, very elegant looking! I have managed to pp 4 blocks yesterday but it's slow going with my sprained elbow. I can't put pressure on to use the ruler, so I managed to rip a strip of fabric to use for the piecing. I am using a block from EQ5 and may try some strips between as in your example Jaba, Love the pictures.

Oksewnsew - yours is looking great!
Think I'm also going to use the solid strips between each of the "busy" borders.
DD says my current border is too busy. I actually think I've managed to calm it down a bit from my original rendition.
Will have to see what happens when I turn the corner and use the reverse color pattern.

Question for y'all - would this round look better with the blender red and blue instead of the red and blue with the stars?

It might look a little less busy that way but do you really want to start over....again?
