Here are some pics I said I was going to post.

The first one is from Elisabrat she sent me just because she is Elisabrat, and very sweet.

Isn't it pretty?

The next two are from my February Swap Partner Missgigglewings.

Aren't they pretty? All of these blocks are going to look so nice in the quilt top I am working for for a queen size bed. I also plan to take my micron pen when I put the quilt top together, and label in little tiny letters on each block the person/state or country from where they were created. All of them are so special to me, and it's like a quilt of many friends. That is what my quilt top will be called by me.

Thanks again to Elisabrat for that side swap quilt block, and for my Partner for Feb. quilt blocks. They are all beautiful, as are all I have received from the beginning of my journey on this swap.

Here is the block I sent Missgigglewings, and another is almost finished for her with one also for Elisabrat. My dear husband is holding it for me. He is the best.
It's a divided star quilt block.

I have been slowed down again due to my dad back in the hospital from having fluid on his lungs. It is in and out for my dad these days.

I am also taking my time with my March special partner 'My.sewingroom' I want to make her a special block, and she would like a star. I am getting a lot more experience with making stars being on this swap, and just what I like.

Have a great rest of the week everyone, and weekend. Stay safe, healthy, and happy sewing/quilting.

Heard from my March partner Letsquilt and I must say I had a blast making her block request. I even made a few for myself in different fabric. Sending the block out in Mondays mail.

Robert, I know I am so lucky to be going to Paducah again, but remember, I am from Louisville and going gives me another rare chance to be with my 2 sisters. With all my critters I don't get away much at all and as the 3 of us are aging, it's about time we spend some quality time together. It's been almost a year since we went to our first Paducah show and we haven't stopped talking about everything we did and how much fun we had. I am so truly blessed. So, I will go with you in heart, you would have a much longer, more expensive trip than I. And, if you let me know what your very, very favorite fabric, color, etc. is, something just might slip into my over stuffed suitcase! Prices there were unbelievable last year so I'm hoping for the same, at least I've counted all my pennies and am planning on taking an empty carry-on again this year. Last year my empty carry-on came back so heavy I couldn't carry it up the stairs at Chicago O'Hare to change planes!!! Thank heavens God sent me a nice young man to help.

I am so happy for you to spend time with your sisters. I only have one brother left and he lives in San Diego. So we dont have much time to see each other. He and his wife had no children so they will just take off to Italy (where she comes from). Both retired. I wish we could see each other more.
OK....fabric hmmmmmmm I love asian fabrics (grew up in the south seas and had lots of time around the Islands).
or anything victorian (my wifes fav) or anything "Paris". Thats our dream to go. But you really don't have to.
Maybe this year you should rent a Van and drive back and you can stuff the Van full.......LOL
You are such a good soul!
Blessings
R
