That's how I feel about the Kaffe Fassett one too. I' m not sure if I like the pattern for the project or I just like quilt I general and that's what is drawing me towards it.

6,8,7 are my favorites, in that order. This is a cool project! Please post pics when you're done!

Definitely 7, because it reminds me of Hoover Dam that is in Art Deco. At least the floor tiles are.

I also have two other patterns that I was thinking about using for the back of my quilt or do something similar (I have found fabric that has the same look I could possibly use).

    1) Interlocking Seasons (http://theparfaitcafe.com/?p=228)
    2) Honky Tonk (minus the star)(http://static.fatquartershop.com/med.../HonkyTonk.pdf)
    3) Gatsby Fabric (http://www.equilter.com/product/1834...veau-blackgold)

With the back it depends on how much work you want to do. If you want to just do fabric that third choice is beautiful, if you're looking to get fancy I'm liking the feel of Honky Tonkin best.

I think of Tiffany stain glass when I think of Great Gatsby, Frank Lloyd Wright designs, flappers, clean straight lines, fansor clam shells types, scrolls like peacock feathers and art neuvaeu and there was really awesome cars from that era too. This link will give you some visual ideas too.

    hope this helps a bit...
