Purple and white, my favorite quilt colors. And your quilt is beautiful! I have no good advice on borders, but I think you already have enough there. Decision time, huh?

This is what I was thinking. It would be breathtaking.

My thought is to do 3 strips for the border: dark, light, dark. Then for the corners to do 9 patch blocks in the opposite colors.
You could also do this with strips and your hashtag blocks but that would be a lot of work, needing 5 strips for the borders to line up with the hashtag sections.

Beautiful quilt! I'd use the color you have.....is it a dark purple? I think a 10" solid border (not pieced) of that color would be gorgeous on this already stunning quilt.

I'd do a dark border with white to frame what is an absolutely gorgeous quilt. Tartan's idea of the scallop border sounds like a winner.

Your quilt is beautiful, but I have no recommendations to add 10" to each side, that's quite a lot. Maybe you might use a 3-4" white border, the blue scalloped border used around the center, then another white or blue border.

Goodness, am I the only one who can't imagine how you did this? Is it all appliquéd or ?? I've never seen those type of curves.
