Update. Doing a small happy dance here. I added the first side of the piano keys and it FITS!!! I had to change the width of the keys as Elisabrat's measure gave me a .3333 reccurring (My centre was not a suggested size) but it FITS!
I have yet to decide on a corner treatment - suggestions are welcome.

Reskylr, Love those borders. I don't know if I can break out and do asymmetrical but I'm going to try at some point.
Pippa, I'm still working on my piano keys but haven't found a way to turn the corner. I'm just going to put a diamond corner block unless I think of something.

I couldn't either! so I just put a diagonal slash in mine. Its a tough one but its such a versatile round that you can easily add a solitare block or a variety block and it still works. Love that round probably one of my favorite because well you can play with it depending on the size square you have to begin with. I think smaller works better than larger personally but to each his own I am so glad your going to give it a try. I always have to cut my end pieces a bit 1/4 to 1/2 smaller btw. Its not that bad

I am behind at present I've been away on holidays in New Zealand so I'll catch up by the next round. I have added a small plain border and am deciding which border to do now. I can't decide on colours? Add in a new one or stick with the orange green and purple in different hues?

Quiltaddiction, that is nice & bright, like the solid border. Don't know about adding another color, maybe adding another color with one of the current colors in your next border. You'll know when it feels right. Good job so far.
Mine is still hanging on the wall, strips & borders in place waiting for me to decide if that is what I want to do.

Here is my new round. I needed to grow it into a rectangular and get it out of its odd size. So it is now 57 by 42 and I will need to adjust something on the next round to make it divisible by 6. Waiting for the next round. This fabric is so pretty. Using all from my stash. The center of the star is a small medallion cut from a strip of stripes for borders. Hope it isn't too choppy looking and is integrated well enough. Aiming for the friendship stars to be floating. Decided to alternate colors because I made white ones first but they looked so blah against the white of the green hourglass blocks that I had to separate it by another fabric to set it off. Then I didn't want the white to be orphaned so decided to alternate with color reversal. Basically, it was all pretty unplanned when starting except wanted to use friendship stars.
Quilt addiction, yours is looking good. I like the zigzag. Would advise on colors but don't feel qualified. Everyone's turning out great.

Q65 it looks beautiful, really nice choices! You might think about doing a 3" border, nothing says you can't and it would fit perfectly. Just thought I'd throw that out there to you
