    I cut the clothes close to the seams and had a back and front. cut the feet off onsies and the sleeves off some of them. I used some of the backs that had ruffles or just cute. It was all new to me so I just guessed where to cut them off. I appliqued to a square of fabric. I didn't turn edges. Just sewed the clothes to the fabric. Hope this helps.
