    Thank you for all your kind words - I think I will quilt by hand. Probably stitch around the circles so as to ensure the needlework is the focus.

    I love mixing needlepoint and quilting. I found a linen embroidered tablecloth at a tag sale and turned it into a quilt. I did a lot of FMQ in the white spaces to set off the design. It is gorgeous. I am trying to mix crochet and quilting to see what I can do.

    I have that cross stitch pattern! Beautiful! I'd love to make it one day myself if I could pull myself away from the sewing machine.

    Very pretty. Did you cross stitch it by hand or machine? I have some Thomas Kinkade cross stitch I bought a while back and love them but they take so long and would love to be able to do them by machine. Beautiful job. Sue
