Red face Not your traditional Hunter Star

I have seen the most gorgeous Hunter Star quilts in Red/White, Blue/White, Batik's etc. For some unknown reason I decided Yellow/Black was just going to be gorgeous.......I really had to force my self to finish it. It is just not to my taste but I persevered.

Personally, I think it'stunning. Not normally one of my go to color combos either but you've done a great job.

I love your quilt, especially the colours. The braided-look border really sets it off. Thank you for sharing.

I love the colors! I think the black makes the (gorgeous) points of the yellow look really crisp and clean, and it definitely showcases what a wonderful job you did with the pattern.

Have the book, just haven't done anything with it! Your quilt is beautiful -- the colors are stunning.
