Default Brother Dreamweaver vs Babylock - Decision made!! Thanks All

A while back I posted here asking about your insight on these 2 machines (Babylock vs Brother Dreamweaver)....great advise and information from both sides and it helped me make up my mind.

I ended up with the Baby Lock Crescendo only because I had a shop referred to me that only sold Baby Lock and not Brother. I got a better price without a trade in and they have great customer service.

If anyone in SoCal needs information about sewing machine shops in the area...PM me with any questions because I have been to many!

Thank you all for taking the time to share about your machines!

I am happy for you. I have a Babylock Jane, straight stitch only.

Congratulations! I'm saving for my Crescendo. How do you like the laser light? That's what I'm really interested in - whether I'm going to use it or not.

Can't answer that yet...only owned it a few hours, but I had people comment about it when I posted my original thread...some like it some don't! The thing I DID want was the dual feed dogs and that only comes on the Crescendo I think....so the lazer come along for the ride! I am hoping it will be useful!

There is a very good video on youtube explaining how to use the laser pen and sensor pen. He does a good job. Lasts about 30 minutes. The manual for the crecendo is very good.

Congrats You will love it I always use the laser when I'm making bindings to get those seams straight edge to edge!
