This must be where I originally got the pattern. Thank you!

    You're welcome.

As far as the copyright issue, I think the technique is probably what keeps these from copyright issues. If there is a little difference in the method, I guess it's not the same. That's why different teachers can teach the same thing. Otherwise, they have to be certified instructors in a method, like Judy Niemeyer.

I made a rough calculation and wonder if you made sofa cushions with them would you just do everything X 4? The beginning piece is 5 inches and most pillows are about 18 to 20 inches square, then X4 all the rest? Just wondering because your cushion suggestion
Is a great idea! If I'm going to spend that much time on something, I want it to be REALLY useful. Any ideas or formulas from the rest of you would be great. My theory probably isn't the best!

They are absolutely gorgeous. I will have to get the pattern and try them. I only want a couple, but I'll see how they work out. Thanks for sharing the pictures of your beautiful pin cushions and the pattern source.

I tried going to the site you mentioned, however, could not find the pin cushion pattern.

Beautiful pin cushions. Too pretty to use as "pin cushion."

Very pretty. They would like nice sitting around as ornaments.

Several links were given by other board members. See posts #12, 31, 44, 58 & 63 for various patterns and tutorials; and see posts # 34, 43, 67 & 71 for links to the same pattern I started with.
