    "Occupied Japan" dates to 1945 after WW2 until 1952. Can't go wrong with a "Clone". Good deal.

    Pretty much where I'm at but I do recognize the need for plastic and other modern conveniences. Plastic isn't bad by itself. It's the over-use of it that's bad.

    Hmmm, going by those requirements means no computers to access QB and all the friends here. While I do think we should go simpler on somethings, there are several I would miss.

    Thanks for all the feed back. We got her going today and she works like a dream. The 17 year old daughter even got sewing on it for fun. Looks like it will be part of the family for some time. Any suggestions for material to recover the case? Looking to stay somewhat correct for the period.
