    Default String Quilt

I started these blocks from a pattern in a book called String Quilt Revival by Nancy Zieman and two others. Have to make 120 of these so it will take a while. Really fun to do. Hope it puts a dent in my stash!

    Thanks for looking.

Beautiful square. I love scrappy quilts. I am sure it will look fantastic when it is finished. I may do the same because I have a lot of scraps. Thank you for sharing it.

Cute blocks! I made my Spiderweb with black in the middle but had a hard time deciding what thread to use to sew them together. I settled on grey so it would not look too bad with the scraps and the black. I decided to iron the black intersections open to reduce bulk. Big mistake as I could see the grey thread against the black when machine quilted. Just a heads up.

Love string quilts. I find the more you use scraps, crumbs and strings the more you have. It seems to be a crazy universal law! lol Good luck with the scrap busting

I made one of these recently--they are a lot of fun to put together!

Oh that's going to be so striking with the black centers! I'm going to have to check out that book/pattern, it's an awesome way to use up some of those bits and pieces I have in my scrap stash.
