I love bread and butter pickles. Yes it is a mamosia. We have them grow wild here too. I am thinking of replacing those that died with a few mamosia. I think they are so pretty. Trying to write mamosia I was cross thinking about the forsythias that come out in the spring. Now you see why I can't be over loaded right now.

Sis your pictures are great. We have some Mimosa trees in our area... As for the Hens and Chicks Lynnie You are to cold up there to leave them outside... try setting them on something up off the ground so the bugs will come out before it gets cold, if not they will burro themselves further in to keep warm... and come out in the house....

    pickles look yummy.
o.k. stupid question. the cow is the older sister of the bull, is that correct??? how/why were they born 3 weeks apart. not being a farm person, (I grew up in Farmingville, lol) how does that happen. i had a cat that had kittens, all at the same time?
has anyone com up with a good idea for a November pincushion yet???? I'm NOT doing turkeys again this year. open to suggestions.

lynnie, Rosemary is really good with plants, I'd follow her advice. I guess I should say they are half brother and sister. 2 different moms, same dad. Born 10 days apart. I didn't know they used mimosa limbs for walking sticks. Sis, I should have turned the one jar before taking a picture as it has a piece of label still on it. I printed some nice labels and when I put them on the design bumps on glass of the jar made them not stick well. Until I tried to take them off.lol.I did get the copy /paste to work. Thanks. I'm all signed up too. How about fall colors and prints and themes for November? There are so many pretty fall fabrics out there. I love fall colors.

Fall colors and prints would be great for November. I had originally suggested Halloween or Halloween colors for October. Since those colors are close to fall colors, does anyone have a better suggestion for October? I know some people don't do Halloween.

welcome Melanie!! stop in and have some 'chatter' with us. tell us about yourself. we're super friendly here.

I did my October pc already. my friend Jeanne will post a pic on tues along with my sept one. I'm still kinda stumped for November, and as isaid b4, i'm NOT doing a turkey again. Now...if I was smart, i would have made a pattern last year,
but no, i just cut into the fabric. I got it. a pile of mashed potatoes!!!! just kidding. how unimaginative of me. hopefully it will come to me.have a great day all.
