    Stunning. It might interest you to know that the delectable mountains pattern which is the basis of this quilt is called "swallowtail" in Wintu basket weaving.

    Thanks everyone - yes it is (IMHO) a variation of delectable mountain but not ever having made one, can't say for sure how close it is.
    The best part of this - the entire top was pulled from my stash. All of the colors were scraps, and I remember each quilt that had those fabrics!
    Quick, fun quilt top to make.
