I am the maker of this quilt. I made it for my grand daughter when she
graduated to her big girl bed. I designed this quilt using a Sawtooth Star block and a block called Puss in the Corner. It is set on point. It is so nice to see all the lovely comments. I wish you the best in making this quilt.

This would be an easy quilt to make without a pattern. Break it down into rows. Look at the rows diagonally. One row is a square, flying geese, square, square, rectangle, square, flying geese.... The other row is flying geese, square, flying geese, rectangle, square, rectangle, flying geese.... By looking at it, it appears the rectangles are twice the length of the squares. The border squares set on point take care of the edges. Beautiful quilt. I rarely use a pattern for a quilt as I enjoy dissecting the whole into manageable elements.

The the lovely colors make this quilt so pretty!
8" finished A-block: color(4)- 2 1/2" sq for the corners, white(4)-2 1/2 x 4 1/2" rectangles,color(1)-4 1/2" sq for the center..
the B-block: (Star)..white(4)-2 1/2" sq for the corners, white & color(4) flying geese- 2 1/2 x 4 1/2, color(1)- 4 1/2" sq for the center.
for 12" finished A- block: color(4) 3 1/2 " sq for the corners, white(4)- 3 1/2 x 6 1/2" rectangles,color(1) 6 1/2" sq for the center...
the B-block: (star).white(4) 3 1/2" sq for the corners, white & color (4)- flying geese- 3 1/2 x 6 1/2", color(1)- 6 1/2" sq for the center.
The flying geese rectangle could be changed to half sq triangles. using a hst sq with the color half on the left and one with the color on the right.:
Hope this helps make it easier..
Useing graph paper to draw out the parts of the block and then adding seam allowances makes it easier to see.
