    Default Stone Feathers

Hello all, I had a challenge for our long arm club, it was to use feathers, sashing designs, and gridwork. Plus the shop owner added to the challenge, which was to use some thread samples. I was last to select, so ended up with a bronze 8wt perle cotton with metallic thread. (WonderFil - Dazzle - Nutmeg) I hand couched the thread on the flower "pot" and on the feather fronds. I tried to aim for a more modern look I love how it turned out.

Pattern: Whole cloth design of my own
    Thread: Glide Warm Grey
Batting: Layer of hobbs poly/cotton, layer of Quilters Dream Wool
