Our doctor perscribed fish oil. My husband takes the 3,6,9 Omega vitamens lowers triglycerides and Cholesterol. If you have problem with triglycerides the best is cinnamon. My husband's had very high triglycerides and for the first time was just a few points above 200. We get ours from Pruitan but have got from GNC or Vitamin World. Good Health to you

After my DH had 3 stents put in, we both started taking fish oil. Other than the size of the pills, I don't have a problem with it. Hubby had to find something different as he got terrible heartburn from it. He found another product at Sams that he can take. (I think it is "Cholest-off", or somthing similar to that.) We use a lot of flax as well...I add it to things like...our oatmeal, salads, stews, bread, (homemade)...pretty much anywhere I can. You do need to use ground flax to get the benefit.

I've heard if fish oil makes you burp to keep them in the freezer. I rarely have that problem. I take what ever brand. A friend gave me two large bottles, don't know the brand name. I'm not usually brand loyal, only on a couple of items.
