Thank you all. I have not heard from her yet. I may get too impatient and just call her today. It is Thanksgiving after all. I have had three "new friend requests" since I sent her a message but they were all new quilting board friends.

I would like to add "ditto" to what has been said.

That brings to mind my own wedding dress. I did go shopping just to say I'd shopped for a wedding dress ( I tried on one in JC Penneys). In reality, it was always in the back of my mind to sew my dress and those of my sisters, who were my attendants. Mine was white velvet; my sisters wore red velvet, and my youngest sister was my flower girl. Her dress was red and white velvet. The fun part about the whole thing was that all of the velvet for all four dresses, plus the pattern for my little sister's dress, came to a couple of dollars more than the single wedding dress I tried on! Regrets? Not a one! And we'll soon celebrate 37 years together!

I have not heard from her yet. I might have to pick up the phone and yell at her for not checking her facebook. HAHA

Very pretty. And that is something you can hand down to your daughter and she can hand the dress down to her daughter.
