I'm so impressed with your creation...marvelous adaptation! You really thought this through from the first idea to the last stitch...and beyond...to the presentation of this masterpiece to the person you created it for! I'm so impressed...did I say that...I could say that again, believe me...you've got it goin' on!

Now you ought to make a pillow to look like the controllers! LOL LOL
Zelda is next on my list. You know when you're actually on the map, the screen shot of you on the map, fighting the bad guys? I want to make a quilt of that (so not the whole world... that would be a lot). That was actually the original plan but I couldn't find a good picture, so I went over to Metroid.

I love the pillow idea! I promised him pillows of some type but didn't know what yet, that would be really cool. Thank you!
I LOVE this quilt!!! It is amazing!!! :D:D:D
I love the idea for the pillows!!!8-)8-)8-)

I showed this to my roommate and he was stunned. He said he would love to see this one, Zelda and Mario done, then for you to post pics on the gamer sites and sit back and watch the reactions. He also thinks the pillow idea is beyond awesome.
If you've never seen it, on "Think Geek" there's a sleeping bag that is a dead TonTon split open, just like in one of the Star Wars episodes, it was originally a gift a girl did for her child. It was posted as an April Fools prank as a real product and Voila... now it is.

The boyfriend actually runs a Metroid website - metroid-database.com which is at the top of a google search for "metroid" so I think the website is popular :) He posted a homepage announcement with the quilt and the other gamers were really shocked with it.

They were doing a "Make a Metroid" contest, meaning the little blobby things that a Metroid actually is. I wanted to enter since I made a "Metroid" ... the blue font at the bottom. No where in the rules does it say it has to be the creature metroid :D :D They said no
