    I thought the same as you (mea 12) and 'twinkie' as for looking difficult, then realized the 9 patch and the alternate solid square as the only blocks. What a beauty made of brown scraps. She'll love it, too. Thanks for sharing.

    I love the browns, and the contrast with the white. It really shows off the pattern.
