    OK these are the instructions I'm talking about. I think what I will do is put the contrasting fabric wrong side up, then the batting then the main fabric right side up then the design guide and I will try to sew it that way. I do not have the foot you are talking about. Any suggestions?

    The way I understand it, they are telling tou to make a sandwich of outer fabric, batting and inner fabric. Then you can quilt it. They are referring to a guide for quilting, I am unsure if that came with your instructions or not. But you want the wrong side of BOTH fabrics o be next to the batting and the batting is to be between them. I hope this helps.
