I knew I'd get smart answers from you gals! Don't know why Pillsbury publishes so many of these type recipes and yet, none of us have had any luck with them!?!?

To make them in cupcake tins, use the flaky layered biscuits but use a few layers from 1 biscuit in a number of cups. Then put in your filling, made some like that with taco flavored meat and topped with cheese shreds--yumm. Little people like eating the personal size things, grab and eat.

I only buy the ones they call "grands" and use them to make wiener wraps for DH when he does something special since they are his addiction and he has High blood pressure, so they are only for a treat a couple times a year.

I have a chicken casserole recipe that calls for crescent rolls on top. Seal the perforations & slice the rectangles into strips. Lay across the top in a lattice pattern. Works great & looks great.

I use pre-made pie crust when I make pot pie. Works great!

My Mom makes a chicken dish that has the biscuits on top, but she turns them over when the top side is brown so that the bottom side can get done too.

The trick is the filling has to be bubbly and the biscuits will be all done.

I tried the canned biscuits on pig-in-the-blanket and other toppings and it was never completely done. Agree with Tartan....I just use Bisquik or Jiffy and also like to hand press or roll and cut the biscuits.
