    Default Thread Rack

I purchased my Handi Quilter Sweet 16 a little over two years ago. I have been purchasing quilting thread every time I go to the Houston International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas. After trying various brands of quilting thread, my thread of choice is made by Filtec. I love, love the way it quilts. I also use their prewound bobbins. Needless to say, I am getting a great assortment of colors of Filtec thread.

I found myself in a dilemma of where to store them. I had them in a closet but told my husband how much I wanted a thread holder to hang on the wall. He designed it with 10 rows for large spools amd 4 rows at the bottom for my embroidery thread. He did a fantastic job and even stained it to make my sewing room furniture.

Told him he should start making them and selling them. Since he is retired, this would be something for him to do. It's nice having a handy husband around!!

Great job! Now have him fasten it on the inside of the closet door if possible, it will keep them clean and out of the light.

What a nice design! He really should sell them if he is looking for something to do. The long arm ladies I know would love it.
