I'm so happy. I took a machine quilting class and now I have the confidence to finish my stained glass butterfly quilt. Yippee!

Woo Hoo! Congrats to everyone who finished ufo's! Between having the crud that was going around and company visiting, I have not done much. Did get borders on my Trip Around The World that I made in 2014 though and now just have to make the backing. It is huge 96 x 108 and covers my queen size bed so think I will keep it for me. Am piecing the back with all the leftover fabric so that always takes time. I like to have it look a little bit nicer than just sewing sections together. Almost like making another quilt top. So by end of April, hoping I can show you the front and the back although it will still be a ufo until it comes back from the quilter.

Another finish for me: I started this one over a year and a half ago for my nephew and his fiancé. The braids and bars are from my MIL's stash and it was hand quilted by a group of ladies. The blocks on the back were in my MIL's stash.

I'm excited to give this to the bride-to-be next Saturday.

It is even on the sides. I was too tired to move some things in front of my design board so it draped over them. Lol!

How nice to have a quilt from Grandma's stash and for you to make it for them, rteacher.

Where are you sure your quilt is finished? I keep going back and adding quilting to the mini art quilt.

I think that has to be a personal choice answer, tk... A mini art quilt would be different than a bed quilt that would be finished when binding is put on. But we would love to see what you are working on Tee Hee. Then we can tell you "if it needs more". :-)

Well, I just saw this challenge. And after packing up my quilt kingdom to move, I now realize just how many UFOs I have! It is disgusting ... So my goal has become to finish one top a month... So far, so good... one in January, one in February, one in March. April's is still in its box though... better get crackin'!! Thanks everyone for your inspiration!
