    Default Searching for this block!

I found this block on pinterest. I tracked it back to the lady who made it. She said she found it in an old Quilters Newsletter magazine, but can't find the magazine. Does anyone here have any info on it? I would love to make it and just need to find the source. Thank you!

what a fabulous block! i agree, would be fairly simple to draft, or, you can write to Quilter's Newsletter & ask them for the issue it was in & if they have it available for sale. this appears to be a original block, not traditional. they used to publish many original blocks in years past. i have subscribed to them since '86 & don't remember this block. but w all our moving around i am sure i missed more than a few issues please post again when you find out more about it?

I too like the block. It opens up possibilities for creating other similar blocks. Ok, people who use EQ7 and design PP blocks what do you think? Can you come up with something?

I am wondering if the house part of the block isn't pieced in a regular square block and then cut into segments with a degree ruler. It is then set into a sort of Drunkard Path block. Anyone have a house block laying around to try it?

OK.......I found that picture I think on pinterest and it leads to a lady by the name of Chris Jurd. She has a blog but I couldn't find that picture; I looked at it going back to July 2012 and then I got a cramp in my thumb )
Her is her blog where I left off http://chrisquilts.blogspot.ca/searc...&by-date=false

She has amazing talents to say the least.
