    Thank you all for your kind welcomes! It is very touching. I live in Southern Illinois and have 4 hives of bees and am hoping to get that number up to 20+ next year. I have been quilting for a couple of decades and have many Phd's (projects half done) and belong to 2 guilds and have a regular sew in day with a couple of friends so we can help each other work out the kinks on current projects (and cut for a friend who has horrible arthritis and cannot do the tiresome chore of standing and handling the cutter).

    Love bees, my yard is full of them right now as my weeds are growing a bit too much and I don't spray, so my yard is a haven for butterflies and bees and anything else that wanders by
