These dresses were made with cotton fabric. My mom never liked the feel of rayon and didn't like sewing with it. I think I have changed my mind about the quilt pattern. I think I will try the Yellow Brick Road pattern. It has larger pieces that should showcase some of these fabrics well. Also, since I am short on time and need to have at least two of these quilts finished by end of May, the Yellow Brick Road pattern will be easier. It will also lend itself well to the stipple quilting that I am fond of doing. I hope to post a picture of the fabrics in the next couple of days. I'm still "unsewing" the dresses.

Thanks again everyone for your replies. I am truly looking forward to seeing the look on my sister's faces when they receive their quilts.
