Default From isewman-Don- Quilt top done

With yard work, and doing stuff in the house. I have my 2nd quilt top done, so far this year. Just not much in doing anything for quilts top. Anyhow, here is a quilt top, I finished up last night. I didnt do a fancy border. Just some strips. Anyhow the name of this quilt is called Varsity Block, from a book by Judy Martin called Knockout blocks and sampler quilts.. With this quilt top I sewed 4 blocks together, for the center, and went from there. 1 more thing, I had a lady friend give me a wall hanging she got tired of. Anyhow, I will add some strips, around it. And hand quilt it to put in my sewing room. Everyone take care. Don-isewmanThe center, I started out withThe whole quiltThe wall hanging, I'll hand quilt with a couple more strips around it.The strips on the 2 sides of the quilt. It was long enough. Just needed to make it wider. Again Take care

Glad to hear from you Don. Two more magnificent quilt tops you have made. You have such a great talent working with color and fabrics. Job well done.

I like your colour scheme, gives the quilt a very traditional look. Will you hand quilt it as well?

OK. . I just had to do the math. If I'm correct, there are 800 half square triangles in the first quilt. Gasp!!! Amazing!!
