Beautiful quilt, and a precious tribute to your baby. I am so sorry about your China. We have went through this too.

Bailey, have to tell you I laugh every time I see your signature line you have a wonderful sense of humor!-China knew he was loved, hold those great memories close for comfort. Anyone who gives their fur baby such a wonderful tribute has much love to give. I hope soon you will be able to give an animal who desperately needs a forever home some of that love-not to take China's place, but to honor him by rescuing another fur baby. Sending a big hug from FL

We lost our Farah at 21 ..she was a siamese too. Still miss her after all these years but do love my Mr.Peach! Go adopt another right now. There is a sweet kitty that needs you. It won't be China but it will work its way into your heart. Your quilt is beautiful!

I agree. I could not say it any better. Our pets for some of us are our children.

What a wonderful remembrance you will have of him now. I understand. I drove over 50 miles yesterday to take my cat that adopted me and had never been confined in anything in his lifetime, to a vet hospital. He meowed all the way there and I talked to him all the way. When we got there, I carried his new carrier in and we had an hour's wait, he never made another peep. Did he know that help was on the way for his horrible congestion? He was also silent all the way home.

Bailey it's beautiful. Sorry for the loss of your little friend China. Maybe you could do diamonds (crosshatching) in the house bit and hearts and paws in the borders. Don't leave it too long before you find another companion. It's not disloyal, and in no way is it to 'replace' China. You obviously have a lot of love to give, and it will be good for you to get some love and company in return. All the best from Western Australia.
