    I know this is about the 3-D leaves which I really like, thanks for sharing. Do you know where I can find the pattern for the flower? I am a Sunflower lover would love to make this block.

    I made the pattern up from a folded piece of paper. I wanted the look of a Dresden Plate but with the pointed ends but without the hole in the center. I folded a square of paper in half, then quarters and then again? to form the petal sizes. I cut one section out and added seam allowances to it. The pointed end Dresden Plate is made by cutting the ends of the petal straight and then folding them in half and sew across the end. You can just use a pointed end Dresden Plate for the sunflower and appliqué a yellow center if you don't want to make your own.
