    Dotty,

Thank you for the beautiful squares. We've had some terrible weather here lately and it's been quite overcast, I haven't been able to get any good pictures of them. Just an FYI, I sent yours out today as well.

I'm not sure how I will do that.

Good afternoon everyone. For those of us that have been dealing with cold, cold and cold weather I hope you have gotten a break like we have for 2 days. Tomorrow it's going to turn cold again. I'm ready to start my swap blocks but I do have to make a trip to Sioux City for a couple of colors I don't have on hand. I'm doing 2 swaps this month so I really hope the blocks turn out really good. I've gotten one of my quilts almost down to get the finishing touches done. I hate to admit it but I've been working on it off and on and mostly off for 5 yrs. Isn't that shameful? Well to Sioux City I go , just wanted check in and wish everyone a great day and also WELCOME to our new members.http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...-animal143.gif

Those are it! Thanks!!! I know one is the Friendship star. What is the other called? They're so pretty.

It's not the Friendship Star. I'll have to look up the name (500 Rotary Cut Blocks).
The other is called Churnstyle by Amy Gibson. It's her 2016 January block (free) at the Sugar Block Club.

My apologies. I thought it was. But whatever the name, it will certainly look good in the quilt

Aha! The block on the left is the Simplex Star, in Judy Hopkin's 501 block book (my favorite). It would be nice if I paid more attention to the names of the blocks I make. The MamaHauser/Kelly has a little label which does the trick nicely.
    Another lesson from Kelly!
