I feel your pain. I usually just throw my pity party quilts aside for a few days or a week or so until I cool down. Usually I just need time to think of a way to fix it. Most of my pity party quilts are quilts where I deviated for the original pattern or plan and things just aren't working out the way it did in my mind. i have a bad habit of just going with an idea without planning it all the way out.

I always fix a mistake right away & go on with it. That is if the mistake isn't too big that it overwhelms me. Then I'll put it on the back burner or toss it. I do though have a lot of finished & unfinished tops waiting on me to finish them.

I have 3 to finish before we downsize this year. Am also getting rid of most all quilting books and folders of ideas and projects that I know now I will never finish. I have already gotten rid of most of my fabrics. Then I have to parcel out all the gadgets on my 4 x 4 peg board. Groan.

Only two. I've finished a couple recently.

I guess we have a new name for UFOs. I have never heard that before. Mine occur because I am pushed for time to get a project with a "date" done and then another deadline surfaces. If I do have a goof up I fix it immediately so I don't dread picking the project up again.

I've never heard of a pity party quilt stash. I have none there.
