    I used to have a Kenmore and used it for everything. We are moving and I found some old parts including a bobbin case. If you still need it, let me know.

    I have had my Kenmore 1941 since about 1975. My only problem with it is it is too heavy for me to carry to class since my back got wimpy. It works like a charm and I don't think it has ever been to the shop. I oil it myself following the instructions in the manual. The class 15 bobbins are available at JoAnns or most anywhere. I would use it for heavy fabrics before my newer computer machine that is a little more finicky. I am glad it came home to you.

    Looks like all that is missing is the bobbin case. They are less than $10 each. The part number is JO1313 for the very basic bobbin case. But there are about 4 others that start with the JO1313 that have different features, or better quality.
