    Default Fingerprint bugs quilt

My granddaughter & I went to a local quilt show and we saw wallhangings made by children & their grandmother. The squares were printed with bugs they made with their fingerprints - worms, ladybugs, etc., - with some details added with a pigma or paint pen. They added sashing around the blocks, and quilted. The guide said she didn't make the quilts but she knows there is a book and you can get it at the Library. I looked up 'fingerprint bugs' but haven't located the book. Thank you if you can help supplying a title or name!

Sounds like a cute idea. Couldn't find any reference to a quilt book but I found this information on making them:

If you log on to Amazon. These books are written by Ed Emberly. There are several styles to choose from.

Years ago my DD class made a flower pot with fingerprints made into likeness of them as a gift to their preschool teacher. It was adorable. One of the moms was an artist. The fingerprint bugs are so cute.
