    Hi All
Just getting back in the groove. I need this site to help me keep on track. My UFO number is in the 30's 36 to be exact and if i really put my mind to it, I can knock this number down. I love the challenge, even if it is in October. I am sure we will continue this next year. So glad to be back. Cindy

This morning I started MQ on a quilt that's been in several stages of UFO...hope to remedy that soon..

I put a UFO from about 3 yrs ago up on the design wall this week. It only needs the borders.....can you believe it has me stymied? I pulled out the border fabric i had purchased for it, but I just wasn't feeling it. Then the next time I look at it, I like it. I think I just need to make that first cut!

There are some fantastic finishes in the past week. Congrats to those that had finishes!

How long can a quilt sit after it has been pinned, before you need to repin it? I pinned a quilt in April and it has been folded up since then. I am planning to start quilting it next week, but I am not sure whether I need repin it or not. I really don't want to repin, but this one is a gift, so I want to make sure I do this one right.

Welcome! Jump right in and pick a UFO. Some of us chose a small project to get a swift finish. Quick gratification.

I certainly have no clue as I seldom get that far, Silliness. Anyone have an answer?

Silliness, I know it's a pain, but I'd take out the pins, give the whole thing a good, fresh pressing, then spray baste it unless you're opposed to that method. I think you're leaning that way anyway, and I believe it'll be worth the effort to make sure it's wrinkle free. Plus the steam should almost close the pinholes again.

Janice, thank you for accepting my UFO in the count. Glad it helped the group total. I'd say 27 for the month of September is pretty darn good, considering how many people are transitioning to Christmas projects, or have health problems, or are moving, or jobs, or.... really it's quite an accomplishment to celebrate!
