Is this something Bonnie said? Where?

I really like your units, Lisa. Love those neutrals and the magenta.

Hoping to work the purples tomorrow. Or the greens, love those greens.

Yes Bonnie did state this in her blog post on Monday. Attatched is where she mentioned it so you can read it in its entire content. I think the units maybe used as a border in the quilt, but we will have too see.

My math, 87 inches to each side, - 6inches (two 3 inch finished blocks) 81 inches x 4 = 324 inches, divide by 3 (size of finished block = 108

Now that I think about it, I shoudn't subtract 6 from each side I should add 3 so even further from the 100 made.

The second magenta is really no improvement, they're quite similar. So I'll proceed with finishing the last seam of my original units, and will pull the neutrals that don't work and re-do those. After the reveal, I can judge whether to stick with them or not.

I was done with both clue 1 & 2 on Tuesday, but we were without internet for a couple of days, so this is my first chance to post my units. I'm kind of disappointed that we aren't going to be using the magenta any more, but I like the idea of using it for binding. I hope I have enough left. My magenta seems more like fuchsia to me, but I like the way it works with the other fabrics.

Well! I read the chatter here... and, how disappointing! That's all of the lovely orange (that I went shopping for, and bought especially for my magenta) that's going to used? Maybe I should make clue #2 using my blue (that I don't like as much), and use my orange where she wants the purple, where I was going to use the blue... Well, I guess I'll just wait for the reveal. As long as one of the clues does not include sewing units together, then I can adjust the plan and make what I like. It's when she tells us to sew things together that I'll be committed to her plan with no turning back...

audsgirl, you've got a really nice set of units there!
